Overview
CRYPTOMICSDB is a curated database providing comprehensive gene expression data for Cryptococcus species complex infections.
This resource provides meticulously curated differential gene expression data at both the mRNA and protein levels, extracted from published scientific literature and rigorously validated by at least two independent researchers. The platform incorporates gene ontology analyses to enhance further understanding, allowing for in-depth analysis of the compiled data.
While Cryptococcus species are extensively studied globally, they are not typically considered model organisms. This can present challenges in accessing systematically organized information. CRYPTOMICSDB addresses this gap by offering a continuously updated, high-quality repository of gene expression data, aiming to support researchers worldwide.
The database is structured into two distinct datasets: "Host View of Infection" (Host-View) and "Pathogen View of Infection" (Pathogen-View), enabling comprehensive analysis from both perspectives.
