Workshop on CFD & ML for Sustainable Engineering – 2026

August 14, 2026

The workshop Computational Fluid Dynamics and Machine Learning for Addressing Sustainable Engineering Challenges aims to share knowledge being developed within the internationalization project supported by CNPq: Computational Fluid Dynamics and Machine Learning for Sustainable Engineering, carried out in collaboration with the Lattice Boltzmann Research Group from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Topics related to Machine Learning (ML) applied to Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) will be covered, as well as the Lattice-Boltzmann Method (LBM), which has proven suitable for generating data to train ML models. The OpenLB software, a free and open-source code based on LBM, will be presented.
